INTER-RESIDENCE COUNCIL, more affectionately referred to as IRC, is one of the three Standing Committees of the Student Association. The organization is committed to providing a positive, approachable and effective forum for all students to improve the quality of campus life through effective programming and advocacy

IRC provides an opportunity for Hall Councils to request additional funding to put on quality programs in the hall. The organization also puts on a number of its own campus wide programs a year, including but not limited to the Rocky Horror Picture Show, Coffee Talk and more. IRC also aims to represent students through advocacy, partly through open discussions that allow students to express their concerns directly to campus officials.
